Thread Lair sells high end textiles for the discerning costume designer who isn't willing to settle for 'good enough.'   We also take costume commissions and leatherwork with a focus on Screen Accurate movie replicas.

With twenty five years of experience, we've done the all hard work for you by scouring the globe to find just the right materials for your projects which you can purchase directly through our shop.  While our primary focus is replicating costumes from film, our textiles and notions provide endless possibilities for design.  You are the artist, we provide the tools.

 

All of the fabrics offered here are sourced as close as possible to the screen used materials without having them custom woven.  We even offer a limited supply of props and prop parts for collectors!
