Hayden Christensen (Ep. 3 Outer Tunic) Dark Brown Crinkled Cotton

This is a rare scenario for us.  When sourcing fabrics we have to rely on dedicated research which can take months and in many cases years, to find just the right fabric for our needs.  That means studying reference materials like screencaps, promotional photographs, the films themselves, as well as ordering many swatches to confirm that the fabric will work. 
 
In a number of instances we got to see the screen used costumes on display while on exhibition which helped us confirm the things we got right and correct us where we missed the mark.  We often get it right, but this time we were able to get it 100% right by having it matched with a screen used fabric swatch.  Let there be no doubt.  While our source isn’t the same as the film production, the end result is identical.
 
We have sourced a 100% screen accurate fabric that matches the kind used on the Outer Tunic worn by Hayden Christensen in the third film.  We had it custom dyed to our specifications and were fortunate enough to be in contact with a client who was able to confirm that our fabric matched the screen used one in weave, weight, and color as evidenced in the photos above. 
 
It's made of a tightly crinkled Cotton in the correct Dark Brown color, not black as many have wrongly assumed.  It’s got a lot of stretch and the texture is second to none.  Though the screen used costume had the upper portion unlined, we recommend adding a lining to ensure your tunic holds its shape.  Don’t forget to get enough!

Due to the narrow width and the sash (which is cut on the bias) it’s best to have more than you need, than not enough.  This is one of our best sellers and we’ve supplied this to customers from all over the world.
 
PLEASE NOTE:  This fabric is custom dyed to our specifications.  The dye process, even when done by professionals, may result in ever so slight color variation, even within the same batch.  This is not a manufacturing defect.
