Mark Hamill Episode 4 Belt Pouch
You can purchase the genuine article via eBay, but the vast majority of those are molding, and dry rotting. Many long past their usable life, even for costuming. Given the lack of pockets on Mark Hamill's costume, a functional pouch would be a huge win while attending a convention in character.
This handmade (and newly manufactured) replica of the Swiss Double Ammo pouch, which was used as one of three on Mark Hamill's belt in the 1977 classic, is made from Premium Bridle leather which is the same leather the vintage originals were constructed from.
Bridle leather is chosen for military use due to being hard wearing under harsh conditions, as well as longevity compared to other hides.
We've even replicated some of the stamping on the back as well as a weathered D-Ring, another feature missing from just about every other replica on the market.
These also feature genuine military surplus aluminum button studs for the flap closures, which are new old stock. Every replica we've seen of this pouch does not feature this distinct and important detail!
This was crafted using a pattern developed off of a genuine Swiss Ammo pouch and is the first of a planned Limited Run that will be produced in time for the original film's 50th Anniversary next year.
