This screen accurate Raw Silk has the texture, color, and drape of the screen used material used to make Sir Alec Guinness's robes in his role as the wise mentor to Mark Hamill. The very same type of fabric was used to create the wizard puppet's costume in the two sequels.

The final picture is the screen used costume and the puppet costume to illustrate the accuracy of this fabric by comparison.

Wash with gentle detergent made for silks and wools. If you want this to pill like the film costume, wash in HOT water and dry on HIGH HEAT for it's FIRST wash. Subsequent washes should be done cold and low heat.
